Monoprinting Workshop
Mono-printing is a direct and spontaneous method of working and a great introduction to printmaking with an extensive range of effects.

The appeal of the monotype lies in the unique translucency that creates a quality of light very different from a painting on paper, and the beauty of this media is also in its spontaneity and its combination of printmaking, painting and drawing mediums.

This workshop covers the use of tools to create a range of marks used in creating a monotype. Students will be able to experiment with the combination of techniques using paint brushes, solvents, rollers and rags to create a series of prints.

All Materials Included - aimed at ages 14+ to 80+

Please note that there will be a 1/2 hour break for lunch so please feel free to bring a packed-lunch or get some grub from one of the great food-establishments in town.
